Ameron Settles Labor Strike in Hawaii
PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2004--Ameron
International Corporation (NYSE:AMN) today announced that the labor
dispute at the Company's aggregates and ready-mix concrete operations
on Oahu in Hawaii has been settled. The Company and union workers have
agreed to a new five-year contract. Normal operations will resume this
week. The previously announced labor disputes at two of the Water
Transmission Group's plants in Southern California and at the
Company's operations in Oahu, Hawaii have all now been settled.
